Book review

By Hannah Farver

We have all read those books, books that talk about your teenage years, how to use your teenage years, what not to do with your teenage years…..As I talk to more and more teens, I notice that when it comes to the topic of Christian books
written for teenagers, they’ll have some excuses as to why they’d rather not read it, consisting of 'it won't affect me,' or 'they're all the same'. This book is different. Hannah Farver talks about the reality of inner beauty and a heart
claimed by Christ. She puts things in way that I’ve never thought of before, and she redefines concepts, such as purity, in a whole new way. Hannah Farver is a beautiful young woman reflecting God and modeling for us what it is like to have a heart claimed by Christ. Don’t give me the all too familiar line, “It won't affect me”, because this book will affect you. If for nothing else, I thoroughly enjoy reading about other young ladies out there who (like me) strive to grow in
the image of Christ
